This lovely little lady’s name is Layla, who was found stray and pregnant in Bakersfield. She is approximately 4 years old, and recently had 6 puppies . She is very sweet and her favorite place is a warm lap. She is her foster mom’s little shadow, and did a superb job of taking care of her babies. She always let her fosters or anyone else handle the pups and help her out without a problem. She loves people and does well with kids as long as she isn’t scared from loud noises or sudden movements. We aren’t sure how Layla would fare with cats; and she needs a bit of guidance on her manners around other dogs. With a strong pack leader, and some active play and socialization with other animals, we are sure Layla will be a fantastic canine companion to any family.
